Great news came recently: the Innovative Talents International Cooperative Training Project of China Scholarship Council (CSC), which was led by our school, was successfully approved.
The Innovative Talents International Cooperative Training Project is established and implemented by China Scholarship Council to a better service to national strategy, comprehensive reform in the field of education, the construction of first-class universities and first-class disciplines, and cultivate more innovative, scarce and compound international talents.
The biggest difference between applying for innovative project and applying for public projects of CSC is that applicants for other public projects must generally participate in the expert review organized by CSC; The innovative project mainly rely on schools to select and manage personnel according to the approved project. CSC will no longer organize expert review for the candidates selected and recommended by our university, but only admit them after material review. This will undoubtedly greatly reduce the difficulty of application for students who are interested in studying abroad.
In addition, for "national public senior research scholars, visiting scholars, post doctoral projects" and "national construction of high-level university public graduate projects", there is generally only one application opportunity every year; while Innovative project generally have two.
It is known that the project will cooperate with National University of Singapore, Harvard University, the University of Georgia, the University of Sydney, Adelaide, McGill University, Surrey University, Swansea University, Technical University of Munich and other top universities in the world to jointly cultivate excellent graduate students.
The successful approval of the Innovative Talents International Cooperative Training Project is another milestone in the internationalization process of our School. The implementation of this project will begin in March this year.
