Personal Profile
Dr. Liu was born in Sichuan, China, in 1975. She received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Chongqing University in 1997 and 2000 respectively. In 2001, as a full-time government scholarship research student, she had a further study in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and obtained the Ph. D degree in 2005. After that, she joined Chongqing University as a lecturer, where she is currently a professor.
Since she was introduced in Chongqing University, Dr. Liu has actively lectured different courses for undergraduates and graduate students, including an English course for international graduate students. She is very responsible and has a good relationship with her students. She has made contributions in teaching and obtained some achievements, such as winning 9 prizes in the college and university teaching competitions, including 3 first prizes in the bilingual teaching competitions. In 2009, she was awarded as one of ten excellent young teachers of Chongqing University.
As the first author, Dr. Liu has published more than 60 papers in well-known international and national journals and academic conferences, such as IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, Optics Express, Applied Physics B, Optics Communications,光学学报(Acta Optica Sinica), 中国激光(Chinese Journal of Lasers), and etc. More than 30 papers are included in SCI journals, whose average impactor factor is greater than 2.0 (IF >2.0), indicating a high-level academic standard. Her academic results have been cited in high-standard SCI journals by other national and international research groups, such as IEEE Journal of Lightwave Technology, Journal of Nonlinear Optical Physics & Materials, Optics Communications, Acta Physica Sinica, Chinese Physics, Physical Review E, and etc. Currently, she is taking charge of and attending three research projects of Natural Science Foundation of China, respectively.
